AI leader with more than 20 years of experience building enterprise-scale artificial intelligence at Facebook, Amazon, and Bosch, with expertise spanning machine learning, generative AI, and natural language processing.
View on LinkedInI have spent my career building artificial intelligence long before it became mainstream. From pioneering one of the world's first on-device speech translation systems to leading AI initiatives at Facebook, Amazon, Bosch, and now as a Professor of Applied Artificial Intelligence, my focus has always been the same: transforming advanced research into practical solutions that solve real business problems. I enjoy helping organizations understand where AI creates genuine value, designing systems that scale reliably, and bridging the gap between technical innovation and business outcomes.
My career has spanned some of the world's leading technology organizations, beginning with an AI startup acquired by Facebook, where I helped build and scale the company's in-house machine translation platform and led the transition to neural machine translation serving hundreds of millions of users. I later led applied AI initiatives for advanced manufacturing at Bosch before joining Amazon as a Senior Applied Scientist helping shape multilingual AI and early generative AI capabilities for Alexa. Alongside consulting startups on bringing AI into production, I now serve as Professor of Applied Artificial Intelligence, researching and teaching generative AI, agentic AI, natural language processing, and enterprise AI adoption.
I help organizations move beyond AI experimentation to build solutions that are scalable, reliable, and commercially valuable. Drawing on experience spanning global technology platforms, startup environments, and academic research, I advise leadership teams on AI strategy, enterprise AI architecture, generative AI adoption, natural language processing, and production-scale machine learning. My focus is helping organizations invest in AI that delivers measurable business impact while avoiding costly technical complexity and unnecessary hype.
I joined Techquity because it brings together experienced technology operators who have built and scaled real businesses rather than simply advising them. The firm's partner model allows me to combine my enterprise leadership experience with my ongoing research and teaching while helping organizations solve complex AI challenges. It's an opportunity to work alongside exceptional leaders, remain closely connected to industry, and help clients apply artificial intelligence in ways that create lasting business value rather than simply following technology trends.
